LETTER: Leonhardt's take on 'Inflation Reduction Act' is laughable

No mention of neighborhood development, retail outlets or mega churches as a threat to agricultural land, just solar panels. The idea that only solar energy is incentivized by the government is just idiotic. The federal government was messing around in agriculture long before solar industry came of age.

What crops does Leonhardt envision planting on West Virginia’s numerous strip mines and removed mountaintops? Does he plan to do this while they are operating, or after they are abandoned? Leonhardt keeps looking backwards, and I will pray the state moves forward.

Maybe Leonhardt will decide to try to keep up.
