Go & See – A very short meeting for models

The client will arrange a go-see for a model, in order to get a personal impression and to take some snaps. Go-sees will be done without any jobs and might lead to direct bookings later on. The client wants to get to know the model for follow up jobs. The go-see is a faster casting. Usually you introduce yourself and show them your book. After a short look into that, the jury/agency/client will want you to walk and pose. On one day, many models will have a go-see. You have to learn to accept and live with rejections because only a few or one model will get the job. Don’t forget to put some natural make up on. Your clothing should be simple and casual and your hair as well. Female models should bring high heels, nude underwear and a bikini. The most important thing is your book – it will represent you and show them how versatile you are as model.
