A public visitation and celebration of life event was held for Doug Skaff Jr. at the Culture Center on the Capitol Complex in Charleston on Monday, June 16, 2025.

Skaff, a former state delegate and the president of HD Media, which publishes the Charleston Gazette-Mail, died Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in a vehicle crash in Lewis County.
