The West Virginia Republican Party closed its primary to independents starting this year. They believe that this will result in an influx of independents deciding to change their registration to Republican.
I have news for the West Virginia GOP: There is no way I would be part of a political party that has done nothing for average citizens.
They have become spineless puppets, performing for their fascist-wannabe king, President Donald Trump. They cater to the richest and forsake the poor and needy. They profess to be Christians, wearing their gold crosses, conniving behind the scenes to destroy our Constitution and democracy.
I'm not sure what the GOP thinks when they look in the mirror or go to bed at night.
If we continue to vote for the GOP, we will revert back to 1933, become a fascist country and lose our freedoms which are covered in our Constitution.
Trump isn't making America great again. He's catering to the richest, the dictators in foreign countries, the founders of Project 2025.
Our country is being run by Russell Vought and Stephen Miller. You will see them at arm’s length of Trump in West Wing offices and the doorway of Air Force One.
Our Republican politicians on Capitol Hill are provided fabulous benefits via our tax dollars. They don't have to be concerned about health care coverage for themselves, let alone the people they are supposed to represent.
