The demolition of the Casci Building on Kanawha Boulevard in Charleston continued on June 6, 2024. The demolition is making way for the new TC Energy headquarters, with a target opening date of 2026.
The new building will include an 18,000-square-foot annex with a loading dock and a 1,500-square-foot rooftop patio. There are to be 124 parking spots on site. It will be located closer to Virginia Street and will face Kanawha Boulevard.
The company said construction of a new building on the site is expected to be completed in 2025, with employees moving in by 2026.

TC Energy is moving its office to the site, the company announced in February. TC Energy is currently located in the historic Columbia Gas building, 1700 MacCorkle Ave. SE, which the company said it leases.
